My name is Augusto, I am an architect and founded in 2017 a Studio that resulted from my awakening process.
I have always enjoyed studying self-knowledge, spirituality and ancient knowledge such as the Hermetic Laws and Sacred Geometry. Over the past few years I went through some internal transformations and very intense processes, which raised many questions and parts that didn’t fit inside my mind. To better understand this whole process and try to absorb all this information, I began to write texts about all this acquired knowledge.
I recently developed a method using laser cutting to create three-dimensional sculptures, and I transform all my texts and acquired knowledge into amulets.
The sculptures are the materialization of all this lived process, and also that I am still going to live. I believe that everything is energy and we are sparks of this conscious energy, parts of a Whole, but divided, more dense and we are somehow coagulated energy, and the creation of the sculptures follows this same concept using the Sacred Geometry found in the patterns of nature to materialize all this energy.
We are channels for something greater, for our higher self, and I always seek this self to inspire me, to transform and channel that energy into something physical. I try to have many moments to myself and always be in touch with nature, in addition healthy habits such as meditation and Yoga help me in this creative process. If I could define in words I would say that I am a channel, and I try to keep my life as subtle as possible so that this channel is always open.
This work seeks the awakening in people, I believe that art is any and all manifestation capable of generating beneficial changes in people, to give that "click", and my art is one of these tools. I like it when people are interested in knowing each sculptures meaning, and with this i try to plant a seed within each person that has contact to my Art. Of course this Awakening is up to each person and the responsibility to trail the path belongs to those who are willing take the steps, and making Art out of my path is a way to demonstrate that it is possible to transform your life. There are many people feeling lost and others finding themselves going trough this process, and being able to carry this message to those who are in this strive is essentially what inspires me.
